Chief Senachwine

Henry Presbyterian Church

The Senachwine Flute Circle began in April, 2008 as an idea that was first presented to various committees of the First Presbyterian Church of Henry, IL and then to the community and the area.  The first circle was April 29, 2008 and more than 25 attended and have continued to participate-- from Varna, Hennepin, Thunderbird, Putnam, Sparland, McNabb, Ohio, Princeton, Henry and elsewhere.

Everyone is welcome to be part of the group—to learn to play the sweet music of the Native American Flute that provides healing for the mind, body and spirit.

In October of 2008, the circle became the Senachwine Flute Circle and is officially registered with the International Native American Flute Association.

The Senachwine Flute Circle meets the 4th Tuesday of each month (except December and January) from 7:00—9:00 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church of Henry.

We have recently joined Cotee River Flute Circle in New Port Richey, Florida as a sister flute circle. We hope to share our love of the Native American flute with them in many new ways. Visit their website at: Cotee River Flute Circle
